About UsI’ve been guiding big game hunters since 1991, following a family tradition that began with my grandfather and continued through my father, both respected Colorado outfitters. Today, I’m proud to carry that legacy forward as owner and head guide of Blaze Creek outfitting services, and even more proud to see my son, Wyatt, beginning his own guiding career.
Although I’ve hunted around the world, Colorado has always been home. For more than three decades, I’ve specialized in guiding trophy elk and mule deer hunts, along with pronghorn, bighorn sheep, and black bear. Throughout my career, I’ve personally harvested and guided clients to many exceptional animals, including trophies worthy of the Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young record books. For me, guiding is about more than inches of antler. It’s about hard work, ethical hunting, and giving every client the best opportunity for a successful and memorable hunt. Guide, Wyatt Port, started hunting big game at an early age. At 10 years old he harvested a 140" whitetail buck in Oklahoma and kept on since then. Taking several trophy whitetail, elk and mule deer over the years, Wyatt is becoming a seasoned hunter and guide at a very early age.
